I took a Saturday morning mini hike through the park behind my neighborhood this past weekend. Morning walks in the freezing cold are best. It was about 17 degrees fahrenheit by the time I got outside. No one else was on the trail and the birds chirped while they soared overhead. Several leaves still had frost on them from the night before, like this one that I found by the creek.
